Specialised translations

The price for a translation is usually calculated according to the number of standard lines, i.e. 55 characters including spaces, or words in the source text.

Since every text is different, I will be happy to provide you with a non-binding quote first. In doing so, I will take into account the difficulty and purpose of the text, the layout, the urgency of the job and in which file format the text will be delivered to me.
The minimum order value is 30 €.

Certified translations

In accordance with § 11 of the JVEG (Justizvergütungs- und Entschädigungsgesetz – Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act), I charge the price for certified translations according to the number of standard lines (55 characters including spaces) in the source text. Depending on the degree of difficulty, legibility, layout and urgency, the price per standard line is between 1.55 € – 2.05 €.

For transcreation as well as for post-editing, website localisation and SEO translation, the workload is calculated in hours.
On the one hand, these services are not only about the literal translation of texts, but texts must be adapted to the target group and the target market. On the other hand, in addition to the translation, extensive research and the use of certain tools are necessary.
